MADE TO ORDER

Dimensions:

Diameter: 96mm

Height: 17.5mm

Capacity:

30 Capsules

Weight:

340g

Material:

Medical Grade Stainless Steel 316L

Finishing:

Mirror Finish or Satin Brushed

CLEANING:

Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. For more persistent marks, use a mild soap diluted in water. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.

WHAT TO AVOID:

Do not use alcohol, ammonia, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the surface and alter the finish.

HANDLING:

Hand-polished surfaces respond to touch and will show fingerprints over time. This is expected and intentional. We favour material purity over protective coatings. Handle with clean, dry hands to minimise marking, and polish gently with a soft cloth when desired.

ONGOING CARE:

Regular, light cleaning will restore clarity without erasing the character that develops through use.

NOTE ON FINISHES:

Natural variation and subtle marking are inherent to polished metal surfaces and are not considered defects.

True Craftsmanship

Drawing on generations of craftsmanship, CHIAROSCURO is carefully brought to life by master artisans in the Netherlands. Each vessel is shaped through a considered process that honours material, proportion, and finish.

Slow Production

Good things take time. Perfecting CHIAROSCURO’s surface is a labour of patience and precision. The finish are achieved through the repeated movements of the hands of the master artisans, returned to again and again until the surface reaches its intended aesthethic.

CHIAROSCURO honours a slower cadence of production. In a culture shaped by speed and immediacy, this object is deliberately conceived as a counterpoint. What is intended to endure over a lifetime should also reflect the time, care, and depth of attention invested in its making.

THE ARCHITECTURE OF OBJECTS

An object is never alone, but exists in relation to its surroundings. Form, surface and weight all bear consequences for the materiality of a given room. We come to know an object through these quiet associations, and the sometimes barely perceptible ways in which they manipulate light, sound and rhythm of their selected environment.

THE DESIGNER

Federico Peri occupies the space between geometry and poetry. Grounded in a deep, material understanding, his practice focusses as much on the extrinsic properties of an object, as the object itself—the air that it displaces, and the shapes that are created either side. Every creation begins with an idea, or observation, and develops through a close awareness of the way in which the object behaves in space.

His collaboration with NOON ALL DAY marks a new chapter in this exploration. CHIAROSCURO is just the first in a series of ritual design objects that will reflect Peri’s interest in restraint, subtlety, and the quiet wit that allows inanimate objects to feel alive. In this conversation, we move beyond the studio, to discover how he transforms material and memory into forms that invite reflection, curiosity and enthusiasm for the everyday.
