A LIFE SHAPED BY LIGHT
Catherine Turnbull spent her childhood in New Zealand, between an island in the Hauraki Gulf and a pastoral farm in Hawke’s Bay, where enjoying time outdoors came as naturally as breathing. However, as her career expanded across continents, the patterns of modern life—long hours indoors and frequent travel—began to reveal their quiet effects.
In response to this, Catherine retreated to Sicily, where life amid sun-dappled land and the Mediterranean gradually reacquainted her with the sensibilities of her youth.
The contrast stayed with her. Time outdoors, rest, nourishment and an attunement to light, once instinctive, became something she wanted to understand more deeply.
Her enquiry led her to Vitamin D, and to the long-term role of micronutrition in supporting the body over time. After learning that Vitamin D deficiency remained prevalent in many societies, Catherine began to ask whether levels could be better supported through education, consistency and well-developed supplementation.
From this question, NOON ALL DAY was born.
Instead of adding to the cacophony that surrounds Vitamin D, Catherine wanted to promote a quieter conversation, one that returns the subject to knowledge, daily practice and the body’s relationship with light. NOON ALL DAY invites you to be curious: to explore how sun, rest and nourishment influence the body over time, and how small daily adjustments can offer steadier support.
This light touch is reflected in the approach to design, placing equal emphasis on aesthetics and function to modestly enhance the everyday.
